WONDERING?
06.11.07, 6:27am
If the TAX grab from the grasping banks is to take a turn for the worse.
Ali-stare must be wondering where he and his cronies can recover the colossal funds needed to sustain the sumptuous life styles enjoyed by the dignitaries of the Palace of Westminster and their roadies.
(Watch out for another sneaky backdoor tax).

DARLING BANK PROFITS
05.11.07, 4:53pm
The gall of this man to talk of "transparency". More is the pity that he and the Govt. are unable to practice what he preaches or has he forgot it needs an x ray and 3 months to pick out all the additional taxes imposed in their budget announcements, and this apart from the smoking mirrors to catch the U turns of this incompetent mob. Let him play with his colouring pencils till GB allows him to speak again!!!

BANK PROFITS

A sharp reduction in bank profits would have to be catastrophic to make any impact on the profit margins that most UK banks have achieved over the past 10 years, so I for one will be crying in my beer over it. What I do object ot is the use of government (tax payers) money to bail out the inefficiencies of these banks who are now struggling to maintain their obscene levels of profit, i.e. Northern Rock.

The Banks have never made so much profits. In fact it must be so embarasing for them.
Come on lets have a drop in interest rate to help the poor customers.
