The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is being forced to find savings of more than £1 billion to cover cost overruns on major projects, the public spending watchdog has revealed.

There we go again cut the armed forces probably get rid of MORE famous regiments and proper equipment. To save £1bn. Get rid of the MPs expenses they should have enough with their wages a husband and wife both MPs who's constituencies are near me claimed about £360,000 in expenses between them, and our forces are having to cut back.

Bring the troops home send the bloody MPs then they might just earn their expenses. Love to see Grodon (not my fault) Brown, Geoff Buffoon Hoon with inefficient kit.

BRING OUR TROOPS HOME !

Its like guarding the hen house when fox is already on the inside ! Bring our brave troops home and secure our borders and get rid of the enemy within.Call up all "UK" Muslims and immigrants into the army and send them over to fight, what's the betting we wont see them for dust ? Either way we win.

It's funny how the people fighting for the labour government and Bush in Iraq and Afghanistan are treated with contempt and forced to fight with none or sub standard equipment and now have to make £1 billion savings, yet eyebrows Darling couldn't chuck £25 billion of OUR money quick enough into Northern Rock to appease shareholders and protect HIS mortgage! As Alan Partridge once said, scum, sub-human scum!

So the politicians tells us that more is being spent on the armed forces than ever before?
True. Just how much of this increase is profit and cost overuns to manufacturers? How much is being spent on the men and women who are puuting themselves on the line for Queen and Country?
How am I? They have rubbish accomadation, rubbish salaries, rubbish aftercare, rubbish civl servant servicing them.
They are serving as the whim of politicians and being let down by politicians.

We have no right to be fighting one illegal unwinnable war let alone two!

If the UK goes in and creates a power vacuum with the USA how an earth do we think it will be filled, the neighbouring countries are now in a race and the most corrupt and evil will win!
