The turkey and trimmings enjoyed at millions of Christmas dinner tables will have a carbon footprint equivalent to 6,000 car journeys around the world, a study has shown.

MORE HOT AIR

Funnily enough, I haven't seen many newspapers carrying reports on how much of a carbon footprint is left by the printing and distribution of millions of newspapers everyday carrying non stories such as this.

This whole Carbon nonesense has gone totally over the top now.

If we cannot even enjoy ourselves in this miserable, Nanny State on one day a year then why not just put us all down at birth and be done with it!

WELCOME TO THE UK

11.12.07, 8:47am

The paranoia shown by this crappy government over carbon emissions is well under way in the "get-a-job make-a-job" industry.
The real danger we face.....is the UK coming to a complete standstill over fear of polluting the air.

If Sneaky Brown was serious about carbon emissions he would do something about the extortionately high cost of using public transport...
