TOO MUCH RED TAPE BUT..........
31.01.08, 8:20pm
for whose convenience was the red tape put there in the first place, it operated against the police by tying their hands behind their backs at the same time expecting them to fight crime, after that bright spark AKA Macpherson , demoralised them on orders from his political masters ,so who was it all to please because it has done no b....y good and we are know reaping the rewards, crime on our streets, but now they are doing us a big favour by cutting the police red tape which should have never been put there in the first place, this is another belly-up coming home to roost and they are getting worried

CUT RED TAPE!
30.01.08, 8:08pm
Well who brought in all this bloody red tape, and took away any authority the police had? The police need to be given back their powers to apprehend lowlife, without being reported for being to heavy handed, just like the parents have had their powers to parent, undermined.

CUTTING POLICE RED TAPE
30.01.08, 7:42pm
Why was there ever any "Red Tape" in the first place ...... it was to placate ethics that the "stop and search" form was brought in......how the black youths in london must have laughed.
Get the shackles off the Police and arm them, theres a war on our streets, give our Police the manpower and the tools to win it.
ZERO TOLERANCE ! !

WHY STOP THERE
30.01.08, 6:59pm
DE- POLITICIZE the police and let the people who know what they are doing take over again,( no not the 'yes men' ) this government hasn't got a clue, who else but them would put rookies on the streets and leave the real trained officers inside the stations form filling? Can you imagine what someone was actually thinking of when they dreamed up that one up?. The police are getting the flak because of them, whoever they are, perhaps the ones who made the stupid decisions should go for analysis to find out what is going on in their heads,it cannot be anything like common sense

BLATHERING BROON
30.01.08, 6:39pm
So now the cops will stop and search everyone so as not to upset the religion-of-peace- and-votes-for-the-labour-party.

BROWN TO CUT RED TAPE
30.01.08, 3:30pm
Brown would have more credibilty if he cut out the crime and causes of crime(remember) for which he has taxed us more and more to put less police on the streets(yes on the streets) to clear up the surge in violent crime. No he is incapable of doing that and will probably have trouble reducing the red tape that his govt. introduced, the man is a nonsence, he can't even put three words together without looking at notes.

MORE RED TAPE TO UNDO RED TAPE
30.01.08, 2:10pm
He has helped cause it, and the answer to the red tape is....................PCSO's. So that the police have the time to fill in the forms to meet the targets.
More hobby bobbies = less real Police
It's the same with teaching, teaching assistants are taking classes in place of real teachers.
What a mess we are in.

GORMLESS BROWN
30.01.08, 1:33pm
And just who created all this red tape in the first place? Tony Blair.
And who taxed us all to pay for it? Gormless Brown.
