IF YOUR RICH ITS OK

The CPI is a fiction. To begin with the components for food and fuel are not as heavily represented as they should be. Add to this the fact that for the low paid and the vast majority of pensioners in this country, where most of their disposable income goes on food, fuel and council tax the true rate of inflation is now more like 10% and counting. Add to this the obscenity of the scrapping of the 10P tax band, meaning that these groups are now paying more tax and you have yourself a Labour party that has truly lost its reason to exist.

NEVER HAD IT SO BAD
16.03.08, 7:05pm
Labours moto should be you have never had it so bad.
The labour goverment seems hell bent on bankruoting this country, I have advised all my kids to emigrate, they will be far better off, and appreciated for thier skills in any other country except thier own.
My salarie now only just covers my expenditure,
compared with four years ago when I could save each month.

What can I say, apart from the billionairs and the non-doms is anyone better off under Gordon Brown's NuLabour taxing government,
Not the OAPs,
Not our Military - fighting illegal and pointless wars, Not our kids who education is failing every day. Not...... etc etc.
Oh I nearly forgot, the immigrants, now they Are better off under Mr "multicultural" Brown!

ALL THOSE PROMISES,
12.03.08, 3:31pm
and what have we got to show for it now.
No money in our pockets, to go out of the house.
But as things are all going up we shall all be on the streets, begging, and the immigrants will be giving us tips of how to make money from this Government.
What does Gorden look like when he and his Darling are together on the bench. The Churchill insurance Dog, nodding away :- yes that's right, yes to that, yes to this, lets take everyones money. Until they cant pay anymore.

LABOURS BUDGET MISERY
12.03.08, 3:00pm
Yet again this goverment fails to deliver for the working class person. I have to work two jobs just to pay for the upkeep and run a household. While these idots are smiling and back slapping each other for a so called great budget, our pockets are being stripped of the last pennies we own.
Darlings budget was all about how great, these crooks are doing and boastingt about past achievements. Maybe he should focus on actually trying to stop the rot within the goverment & give us back our money.
For the last ten years we have be taxed to the hilt yet the goverment boasts about low taxtion. In real terms we are the most taxed people on the planet, I suprised we haven't got a toliet tax yet but don't speak to soon this is on the way.

THE LAST TIME OUR COUNTRY WAS THIS BAD
12.03.08, 1:48pm
was in the late 70's when the Tories won the General Election.
Labour had run the country into the ground then as well.
The only difference between now and then, morale wise, is then we had a great country and were looking forward to improvements after the years of strikes under Labour.
Now what do we have to look forward to??
More immigration
More taxation
More PC left wing garbage
ID cards
No punishment for criminals who beat up the elderly
No dental treatment (unless you are loaded)
Plenty of pregnant teenagers
Plenty of druggies and drunks on the streets
Need I go on.....??
Not very pretty reading is it??
I agree with Jimster, we can't all emigrate. We need a strong leader to sort out this mess.
Looking at the candidates in opposition to Jock McBroon though, there ain't much hope is there.
If I could afford to emigrate, I would, and it pains me to say that.

YES!!!!!!
11.03.08, 11:21am
I was made redundant last July, It took me 7 months to find a job. My experience taught me that in my trade, retail, wages are stagnent at the bottom end and reducing at the top end, along with a longer working week requirement. All of my incoming bills have risen substantially under Labour. I never thought that after years of work I would end up living on the bread line purely because of the massive increases in my basic living costs experienced under this government. I have to manage on the income I have, its about time the Government learnt to do the same.
