HOW TO TRAIN THE PUBLIC TO ACCEPT A POLICE STATE

28.03.08, 1:23pm

From my latest article: http://www.thelabourparty.org/600_police_blackstock_road.htm

It looks to me like the 'authorities' deployed these tactics solely to train the public to live in a police state. Are we supposed to believe they could not deal with these criminals as and when they were discovered?

Problem - Reaction - Solution

This looks like problem-reaction-solution... first the Government turns the police force and judiciary into a farce and knowingly allows in numerous foreign criminals, then the public screams for something to be done (see the joy and praise in most comments on the Mail's article) and then we get hundreds of stormtroopers marching down our streets to restore order out of the chaos the Government created.

Now we have just been a little bit desensitised to seeing the police acting this way in Britain. Next time it could be a blitz on houses that do not have a TV licence and if that happens, just about anything is possible.

The Times article reports that, "Shoppers were stopped and questioned at cordons at each exit to the street as they attempted to leave."

This is what happens in a police state: all ordinary citizens are considered the enemy.

Hundreds of police stations have closed, so much police time is wasted on paperwork and your average copper is too scared to give a naughty child a clip round the ear for fear of being accused of assault.

Real policing that encourages safer, friendlier communities is becoming squeezed out to make way for jackboot tactics.

I fear this case in Finsbury Park sets a very dangerous precedent for Britain.

DISGRACEFUL

28.03.08, 11:51am

Disgraceful. What about their human rights !! I for one will form I protest group. Criminals have the right to carry out their profession without this harassment. I will fight for compensation for everyone of them. I'm fact I've spoken to Cherry and she'll take the case for £500 and hour. Bless her. She's such a champion for the down trodden.

SWOOP?

28.03.08, 10:58am

What a great photo opportunity. 600 real policement 'swooping' down one street. Josh is;nt that great eh? To know that we have 600 police in one place, to know that a complete street has been taken over by criminal gangs, forgers and drug dealers, brilliant. i firgot we live in a third world country wher this can happen, when 'hobby bobbies' dress up every day as pretend policemen and ponce their inaffective routes around estates where they are ridiculed for the waste of space they really are.
600 policemen in one street, I would love just one of two to wander down the road I live in.
600 in one street, cannot be right this must be a NuLabour PR stunt.

600 REALLY?

28.03.08, 7:19am

It is beyond my comprehension how the Metropolitan Police can rustle up an alleged 600 police officers to effect a raid in London yesterday.

I was under the impression there were certainly LESS THAN 600 police officers in England.

I have NEVER seen a police officer pounding the pavements, as they used to. No, they drive around in flashy cars glaring at everyone as they pass, smug, arrogant, distant and non-caring busy-bodies.

Report a crime - if you can find a police station that is actually open - and you will be provided with a reference number, which is worthless.

With the influx of immigrants now flooding England it follows that we shall see less and less police officers at street level - they will be too busy learning foreign languages and charging about like demented wombles in the hope of catching some petty offender.
