OUR GOVERNMENT
14.05.08, 1:36am
loves interfering in other countries, giving aid to places where the dictatorships claim the spoils.
Meanwhile, back on the ranch, okay, this country....
Our old people either heat or eat, probably neither shortly, because food and fuel prices are increasing by the day.
What does the Government do to help?
BOG ALL, as usual! Other than perhaps increase their receipts for their 'expenses'.

AID FOR BURMA
13.05.08, 4:32pm
I don't know if I heard right on the news, but the aid is trickling through, but the ruling generals are keeping all the good stuff for themselves and giving the c**p to the the victims of the cyclone. If this is true then I think the rest of the civilised world should send in the military and kick their bloody arses big time!! We call China on human rights, but they got stuck in right away after the earthquake, 50,000 troops were mobilised right away to rescue people from the collapsed buildings, in three areas. Burma needs to be taught a lesson that they will never forget.

the ordinary people of burma showed incredible courage under japanese oppression in 1942/45 so what will happen when this current nightmare is finally over? civil war, uprising against these ruling monsters, they have got it coming and it must be soon.

BURMA

I see the Government, once again, is sticking it's nose into another country's business! The oppressive regime has been in place in Myanmar for many years.! If the Military in Myanmar want to murder thousands of civilians by depriving them of aid, what is Mr. Alexander going to do about it, send in a gunboat? I agree with JohnnyB any aid we send will not get further than the Military's warehouses!
