I thought I got off easily the other morning when Golden Boy only bit me fiercely on the shoulder as I was dropping him off at nursery.

Perhaps if we stopped paying Child Benefit for children who are not even in the country(eg Poland) there may be more money available for BRITISH children who are actually IN Britain, so that's one thing we can sort out for a start.

As for a baby bonus, well isn't there a child trust fund that gives money now, then more later, placed into trust for when the child is older? Is that not ENOUGH?
What MORE do people want?

Would you buy a dog if you knew you could not afford to keep it?......Then why a child?
It's all down to parental choice. Those who can afford to keep a child, can do so. Those who cannot, should not.

And what's this whole culture of child care anyway? Whats wrong with STAYING HOME and actually doing a bit yourselves? Oh, because you need to work because you need the money?.... Then put simply, you cannot AFFORD a child..... end of!

If people want children they can pay for them themselves - its not a right - I would love a new car - is the gov. going to pay me?
All benefit should stop after 2 children and no benefit for single mothers.
The Sharon Matthews case sums it up - a meal ticket for life on benefits!
Not on my taxes thank you.
The next thing is that parents will be expecting the gov to wipe the rear ends of their offspring!
