What a daft question.

And until someone in power does something about forcefully closing the borders, rounding up those that are found to be here illegally, and forcefully removing them (sod the human rights!), we can look forward to many, many more in the coming years. Especially so if Turkey is granted membership of the EU (God help us on that day- the deluge will become a dam burst). With the idiots we've got, plus the human rights act, it'll never happen. We'll just sink further into the abyss.

Depressing isn't it? But at least we should all feel fulfilled. We are being multiculturally "enriched" after all.

Most are nothing more than economic migrants
had they been escaping fom persecution why come all this way,they would have been alright in the first safe country they arrived in as laid down by International law.
We might be cabbage looking but we are not green, we do not believe they applied through the correct channels from the safe country they had arrived at . No? thought not

Our European Neighbours are not daft enough to give them free housing and benefits and health treatment like Britain does.

i always thought that asylum was sought in the country next to the one the seeker had just left - not all the way to britain. But then I suppose they would not be able to claim benefits. but where do they get the money to make the long journey here.

The way i believe it asylum should be claimed at the first country they go to to escape whatever is happening in their country . Yet they mainly want to come to the UK , is that just because we are nice or is it something else !!!.

It sounds like a travel brochure, doesn't it.

Like an asylum seeker should have a choice, I thought just to escape their unbearable countries was enough, without being able to search out where they get the most cash rewards.

Nu Labour travel agents have obviously advertised what's on offer so widely that the martians are landing in Peterboro and demanding housing and benefits.

The advert must read something Like....

Nu Labour urge all the scum of the earth to come to the UK and ponce off its most generous hard working citizens, who Nu Labour urinate over frequently, you will be treated like gods, and all the laws are there to protect you better than the UK citizens are protected, your status in the UK will be much more superior to any UK citizen. What more could you ask for, your culture can continue in the UK unabated, you can gob all over the UK pavements without anyone intervening to let you know the UK does not consider this civilised behaviour, if anyone was to comment, we would have them up before the beak citing racism, so you are well protected in the UK. You can bring your hundred wives, children, brothers, sisters, grandparents with you, NU Labour welcomes you, as it sticks it's two fingers up to the indigenous population of the UK. We want you to be happy, as we make your lives more bearable we will make sure the taxpayers of the UK pick up all the bills for you, and don't worry if you are found out to be bogus, the UK will appoint free legal aid for you, to get through appeal after appeal so that in the end you've spent so much time in the UK appealing deportation you have automatically become a British citizen by default.
Where on earth else would you choose to go.
Come to the UK.
