HARBINGER IS RIGHT

10.09.08, 6:23pm

In the UK, democracy is dead. Despite the claims to devolve democracy, empower people, or derogate decision-making, what we have seen is the creation and maintenance of an illusion of consultation, followed by false claims of consensus. In truth, central control is tightened, as so-called community leaders are politically placed and imposed, and so on upwards through every control tier to nulabor HQ.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The tell-tale is the fact that 75% of all British Law is made in Europe... It is nodded through The House of Commons and comes into British law by the minister simply signing the document.
That is why we cannot use our bins every week, It is why Gas Electricity and Water Companies were privatized.. it is why the Post Offices are closing... It is why Poles and Serbs are flooding unchecked into our country... and so on...
But still the nation thinks that Power remains between the Labour Party and the Conservatives..... they are simply a "front" power is in Brussels.. because we have given it away.
The Enemy of this handover is UKIP , But then maybe Britannia no longer has the Will to Rule itself ?

IF BROWN HAD A BRAIN...

10.09.08, 5:50pm

He would call a Referendum on the Treaty of Lisbon...
Because it would distract all those simpering Labour MPs who would be running around supporting the evil EUmpire, to get the right result and forget about loosing the General Election.

It does not matter that the Treaty has been signed- because any referendum of any of the people of Europe counts higher than national government !.. its euro rules !

'BREAKING NEWS!! INCABABILITY BROWN IS ACTUALLY A MOLE PLANTED BY THE NATIONAL FRONT TO TOTALLY DISCREDIT AND DESTROY NU LABOUR.' DIDN'T HE DO WELL !! '

10.09.08, 4:17pm

This utterly corrupt and treacherous bunch of traitiors have done more irreparable damage to this once great country than Hitlers Nazi Germany ever could. What other Nation in the free world would passively tolerate the systematic rape and betrayal of their land?.
Only us,because it would not be politically correct if we stood up to be counted !!

WHY BOTHER WITH WESTMINSTER OR WHITEHALL

10.09.08, 1:14pm

Ten years ago I wrote to Barclays Bank pointing out the Taxpayer could, quite legally, avoid paying PAYE Taxation, by out-sourcing their payroll department. The Business or Company, have always been able to manipulate their accounts and within reason avoid some Taxation.
But today, the British people have arrived at a point that demands the British working Taxpayer
takes complete control of Direct Taxation.
Just change the way you work and are paid, so that the only Taxation that can be legally enforced, would be the Local Council Tax. And as it would be illegal for any locally elected councillor to demand or collect anything other than Council Tax, it will require the Taxpayers to ASK, the County Council to receive their Taxation payments for all Public Services in that County.
At a stroke, Taxation will be reduced to, certainly no more, than 20% in the £Pound after a threshold of £ 500, a week. And that threshold might have to be increased the way Westminster is going.
Enough for now. Regards, ATFlynn

These fools are drilling holes in the bottom of our ship hoping that if they let enough water into the boat there will be none left in the ocean for us to drown in, BRILLIANT!!!! I, like many other will NEVER vote labour again they have betrayed the workers from all levels in favour of anyone looking for a handout.

CLARKE WAS RIGHT

09.09.08, 10:07am

Sorry, no. Brown does not have to quit and won't if only there is no one to take his place. Anyone stupid enough to take this job in present conditions is totally unfit for it. Whoever leads Labour into the next election in just over a years time will lose and end their political career. Much better let Brown get on with it and hope to become leader of the opposition with the hope of winning a future election.

THERE'S PLENTY OF LOLLY AROUND

09.09.08, 9:03am

I can't understand why everyone is talking about a housing crisis. Mr and Mrs Blair have demonstrated their complete confidence in a flourishing housing market. Apart from owning two London homes and 2 flats in Bristol they have just recently purchased a stately home in Buckinghamshire for 5.75 million pounds. Oh, I nearly forgot, they also own a home in Durham.

PLENTY OF NERVE

08.09.08, 7:48pm

Youve got to hand it to old G.B., hes got some nerve staying in the job.
The "great financial expert" has presided over the biggest financial disaster in history.
"Its all the Americans fault" he says.
Did he warn the banks about reckless lending...no.
Did he warn buyers or lenders about chronic over-pricing...no.
Did he get together with the Bank of England to calm the obviously dangerous market...no.
Hid did nothing...well done Gordon.

LABOUR IS TRAPPED IN A DOWNWARD SPIRAL

08.09.08, 4:44pm

I hope it's not true, because the a;lternative is worse, a bunch of public schoolboys who have never done a proper days work in their lives, who know nothing about how ordinary people live their lives. Yes I do mean the conservatives.
I think it's time to have a national government of all the best talents from each party thus doing away with the yah boo sucks to you attitude that pervades party politics at this time.
PM Ken Clarke (Mr cool himself.)
Foreign secretary Charles Clark (we need a rotweiller in this job)
Chancellor Vince Cable (perhaps the cleverest most able guy in the lib-dems.)
Home secretary David Davis (he would protect our freedoms)
the rest of the offices given to the most talented of elected MPs from all Parties. That way we could get rid of party politics which has failed this country time after time and concentrate on what is best for the people of this country.
Oh, and cut the numner of miniasters and MPs in half and pay them the going rate for the job as in other countries.

CLARKE'S SOLUTION MAY APPEAL TO MANY, BUT HE IS ON THE WRONG TRACK

06.09.08, 3:33pm

The "downward spiral" of Britain in general is not attributable to one man, Gordon Brown, nor one government, Labour, the gross incompetence of generations of politicians has brought this about. True, Gordon Brown has more than done his bit to accomplish this. Before he became prime minister, as Chancellor of the Exchequer, he approved a new set of British coins. For the first time since the reign of Charles II, the figure of Britannia had been removed from them. Gone in one stroke was any association with Britain's imperialism - Britain's greatness to tell the truth. I was born English and although I live in the US I will die English. Proud to call myself English. But when I visit the Britain of today, I feel like a stranger. And I grieve because I am old enough to remember Britain as she was.

A new book by A. N. Wilson asks the question: who killed Britain, and states that the land Queen Elizabeth II once ruled no longer exists. Who can deny that when Islamists burn the Union Jack in England and with impunity? And who is to blame for this? Who can rightly say with so many politicians mouthing empty platitudes about Britishness and Britain's core values when they have been swamped and are about to be eliminated by over 420,000 immigrants, not to mention in schools exclusively set up for Islamist Britain haters?

Just as the French saying is (to translate) one swallow does not a Spring make, and nor does one droplet of water make an ocean, nor one grain of sand a beach, one man is not culpable for what Britain has become today, not Blair, not Brown. Remove him if you wish, all hail Clarke, but you will have got rid of the symptom not the root cause of the "downward spiral."

LABOUR TRAPPED!!

06.09.08, 12:54pm

Labour's downward spiral began when they elected Tony Blair as their leader way back in 1986 period..I saw through him then and his sleazy Lawyers traits; and I told many people so, and have been proven correct and as such have not voted for the Labour Party since!! Instead have put my faith in the UKIP party to whom I am getting far better service and many more relevant questions ANSWERED from Parliament which Labour MP's were asled to get but didn't!! And Brown! He's is a totaly disaster been chancellor for 12 years just look at the state of this country from being robbed and pillage by the Scottish Chancellor!! The Labour Party taken on whole are in my opinion on a similar par with the Robert Mugabee regime in Zimbabwe...beat it!!

NULABOR

06.09.08, 1:00am

This nulabor government is corrupt. The nulabor corruption is absolute, lead from the top down, imposed through all tiers of social and government control, down to street level. Being rotten to the core and from the core, everything it touches it taints. Having neither the ability nor inclination to correct itself, outside intervention is indicated.
An as yet unnamed elite, lawless organisation is actually running the country by stealth, in effect a silent insurrection from within. The control must be total, absolute, and lead top-down from the centre. What and who cannot be controlled must be destroyed by nulabor. An unelected cadre already runs the country, bypassing Parliament, the Judiciary, and all the institutional safeguards that were designed to ensure our freedoms.
