SIR TERRY RESTS ON HIS LAURELS

The 71-year-old bid farewell to his TOGS (Terry’s Old Girls and Geezers) after 27 years and admits he’s still coming to terms with the easy mornings he should now be enjoying, despite the fact he’s too lazy to do anything with them anyway.

“I may wake round about six but I don’t get up,” he told the Radio Times of a typical morning.

“I lie and doze, this morning till nine .

“You see I have no sense that I should be doing something. ”
