As waist sizes balloon, classic female curves are disappearing in place of a straight up and down figures like men, the study commissioned by Prima magazine says.

The average waist size could be up to 42 inches within 50 years, thanks to women piling on the pounds.

And we are already on average seven inches fatter than our grandmothers.
