Jamie Oliver’s garlic, honey and mustard crispy potato cubes have “the ultimate crunch” and can be simply prepared in the air fryer.

The recipe, which yields four servings and was shared on Jamie’s official website, cooks in just 35 minutes and requires minimal prep time.

The TV chef said: “A crispy cube potato is like a roast potato's little sibling.

"And you get the ultimate crunch because these are so small and delicious."

The added: "I’ve suggested a few combos to make these next level, but they’re great as they are, too. ”

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Maris Piper, Russet or red skin potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 2cm cubes
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

Place your potatoes in a mixing bowl, then add a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt.

Prepare the garlic bulb by cutting off just the top. Wrap the bulb in foil, drizzle it with oil, and season with salt. Enclose the bulb in the foil, ensuring it's tightly wrapped.

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C. Put the potatoes and garlic into the air-fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes. Afterward, give them a good shake.

Once the garlic is removed, increase the air fryer temperature to 190°C and continue cooking the potatoes for an additional 10 minutes until they're ready to serve.

While the potatoes finish cooking, unwrap the garlic and carefully squeeze the soft cloves into a mixing bowl. Add honey, mustard, and a pinch of salt to the bowl, then mix well.

Once the potatoes are cooked, toss them in the garlic-honey-mustard mixture and enjoy!
