The new partnership between Octopus Energy and Caffe Nero will see customers able to claim a free drink every week - here's how to get yours.
Octopus Energy customers can now enjoy a free weekly beverage courtesy of a new partnership with luxury coffee chain Caffe Nero.
Starting today, customers can claim a complimentary hot or cold drink at any Caffe Nero outlet in the UK through Octopus Energy's rewards scheme 'Octoplus'.
Caffe Nero is the latest brand to join 'Octoplus', following recent additions such as ODEON, the National Trust and the National Trust for Scotland.
In addition to drinks at Caffe Nero, 'Octoplus' members can redeem their points for cinema tickets, National Trust day passes and Octopus Energy merchandise.
The collaboration comes as Caffe Nero agrees a strategic partnership with Octopus Energy Group, aiming to foster sustainable and positive environmental change for customers and employees.
As part of this alliance, plans are underway to switch the energy supply of Caffe Nero's 620 UK stores to Octopus Energy and trial its innovative 'Max Power' energy tariff at selected outlets.
This would make the coffee house Octopus' largest business customer in the UK.
Employees of both Octopus Energy and Caffe Nero will also reap benefits. Octopus staff will soon be able to savour a variety of Caffe Nero treats at their offices and in stores nationwide, while Caffe Nero staff will enjoy a range of green energy benefits.
Over 1.5 million Octopus Energy customers are reaping the benefits of the company's acclaimed rewards programme, earning 'Octopoints' for maintaining a healthy energy account or cutting down consumption during the famed 'Saving Sessions'.

To join 'Octoplus', customers must be supplied electricity by Octopus Energy, possess a functioning electric smart meter that sends half-hourly readings, and pay via Direct Debit. The scheme is open to business customers and those with smart prepayment meters as well.

Points can be redeemed effortlessly in the 'Octoplus' section of the Octopus Energy app or dashboard where users can view available offers and check their 'Octopoint' balance. Customers can then use the provided code in-store or online to unlock the exclusive benefits.
