The six-part docu-series is set to be “unprecedented” in what it tells the audience as it “share[s] the other side of [Meghan and Harry’s] high-profile love story”, Netflix said. The programme will show the “clandestine days of their early courtship” and “challenges that left to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution”.

In the first half of the documentary, the Duchess of Sussex made a stunning revelation about the Queen.

Meghan revealed the contents of a discussion between herself and the Queen before she died in September.

Sky News royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills said that “the overriding feeling is sadness, this isn’t a soap opera, this is a family.”

The comments revealed by the Duchess of Sussex has proved expert Michael Cole’s claim that the “gloves are off” now Her Majesty is gone.

The ‘Harry and Meghan’ series is being aired just three months after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The docu-series is set to worsen fractures between Harry and his brother Prince William who only publicly showed some kind of reunion at the time of the Queen’s funeral.

The pair went for a walkabout at Windsor Castle with both of their wives which saw the brothers exchange their first public comment in years about the plan of action for greeting fans and reading messages.

King Charles III

The programme was directed by Liz Garbus, who is Oscar-nominated and well-known for her exposes and telling the stories of “survivors”.

Experts have suggested that King Charles may retaliate to the comments from the Sussex’s by removing their titles.

The Palace has famously held to the notion of ‘never complain, never explain’ but with the recent comments from the pair about the firm, the King may have to change tact.

Mr Cole said: “The King does have an option here. He can remove the title HRH, Her Royal Highness, His Royal Highness.

“It was done when Diana divorced immediately…that’s big medicine, that means something a great deal.

“The King does have that sanction, or maybe they will try to never explain, never respond to it. I think it would be hard for them to do that.”

The second half of the docu-series is set to be released on December 15.
