Prince Harry will feel that he represents Diana at the Coronation as Queen Consort Camilla is crowned in her place, a royal expert has claimed.

Leading communication and body language expert Judi James said the Duke of Sussex's mind will likely be dominated by his late mother and wife at the royal event.

“There will be two women dominating Harry’s thoughts at the Coronation; his wife Meghan and his mother Diana," Judi told Express.co.uk.

“With his grandmother and her dominating presence gone, there will be little to offer to Hary in terms of emotional control.

“He describes himself emphatically as his 'mother’s son' and it is likely he will feel he stands as her presence or even her champion in the room as he watches another woman crowned in her place."

The Coronation will mark the second visit Harry has made to the UK since the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

“The effect on his feelings should be underestimated," noted Judy. "He is no longer in the UK to honor and do his duty for the late Queen."

She continued: “But he is also back in the UK at a time when his relationship with the other royal must have reached some form of rock bottom."

Though he will be acutely aware that the Coronation is a historic moment for his father, Harry is likely to be “overwhelmed” as he comes face to face with his family amid their rift.

The Duke made several bold claims in his tell-all memoir Spare, including a comment about begging his father Charles not to marry Camilla, whom he will see for the first time this weekend since the release of the book.

“The only challenge for everyone involved will be to avoid letting their feelings show and allow Harry to upstage the event in any possible way," Judi said of the event.

Speculation has grown about where the Royal will sit during the ceremony, with some experts expecting him to be “shoved to the lesser pews”.

Others, including Tom Bower, proposed to GB News that there could be a no-show from Harry now that he’s not sitting near senior members of the Royal Family.

It was announced several weeks ago that the Duke of Sussex would be attending the royal event in the absence of his wife Meghan, who would remain stateside with the couple’s children.

“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet,” a statement from the Palace read in April.
