Princess Charlotte is appearing more frequently at royal events, meaning that fans have been able to get more of a look at her growing personality.

Fans have also been quick to notice just how much the eight-year-old resembles her mum - and not only in looks.

Despite being her own little person, Charlotte has seemingly got many mannerisms from her royal mum - including her excitable facial expressions when watching sporting matches.

The young royal also shares a sweet mother-daughter bond with Kate, which is evident from their recent outings.

Here, Express.co.uk takes a look at six pictures that really prove Charlotte is turning into Kate's mini-me.

Princess Charlotte appears to have perfected the royal wave - just like Princess Kate.

Having not been born into the Royal Family, Kate had to learn how to wave like a royal - with her undoubtedly keen for her children to follow suit.

Having first seen waving at photographers while on her way to meet her little brother at the Lindo Wing in 2018, Charlotte seems to have the move down to a T.

The adorable mother-and-daughter duo were seen both waving in-sync on the Palace Balcony following the King's Coronation back in May.

Princess Charlotte appeared at Westminster Abbey on May 6 to celebrate King Charles III's Coronation.

As she arrived, alongside her parents and younger brother, fans couldn't help but notice how much Charlotte resembled her mother.

Both Kate and Charlotte wore a silver headpiece, which some royal fans described as a toned-down version of a tiara.

The headpieces were both designed by Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen.

Kate’s headpiece features leaf embroidery and crystal and silver thread work as well - with Charlotte sporting a smaller version.

Princess Charlotte is certainly set to follow in her mother's footsteps with a much-watched love of fashion.

So far the young icon has become a style icon in her right, with fans eager to out what the eight-year-old is wearing at various events, such as this year's Wimbledon.

Earlier this year, Charlotte joined her parents and elder brother, Prince George, to watch the Wimbledon Men's Singles match.

Sitting alongside her family, Charlotte looked adorable in some pink sunglasses - almost identical to her royal mother.

The Princess of Wales is known for documenting some timely facial expressions while out on sporting engagements - with Charlotte sporting the same at an appearance at the swimming competition at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre during the 2022 Commonwealth Games last year.

Charlotte was treated to a solo outing - without her two  brothers - with her royal parents.

Charlotte appeared so excited by what was going on that she pulled some expressions previously shown by her mum.

The young royal can be seen wide-eyed as she looked intrigued by what was happening.

Charlotte's first day of school

In September 2019, Princess Charlotte looked adorable as she arrived for her first day at school.

Both the Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied their little girl on the big day, with Prince George also there to support his sister.

As Charlotte walked to the doors, fans spotted that she has inherited one habit from Kate - twirling her hair.

Kate is known to have this habit too, with her often seen playing with her hair during public appearances - a signal that often represents nerves.
