There is one thing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship "lacks" when compared with Prince William and Kate Middleton's according to one royal expert. American royal commentator Kinsey Schofield said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a "clear vision" and "shared interests and goals", which she said Harry and Meghan did not have.

Her comments came during an interview with GB News in which she described Kate as the "perfect princess" who was "kind, sweet and considerate".

She said: "I think that what makes [William and Kate's marriage] work is that they both have the same goals and they both have the same passions, and there's a clear vision at the end, which is what I think Harry and Meghan's lacks.

"They both know what the ultimate objective is, so they work their way towards that.

"I think that they know each other like the back of their hands, I don't think there's any drama behind the scenes."

She was then asked by the presenter whether the "fire of love" still burned between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Ms Schofield added: "You can just tell by the way they look at each other that they definitely still open-mouth kiss, there is some smooching going on."

Ms Schofield was also asked whether she thought Prince Harry was a "legend of aviation" as he is about to be inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame.

In response, she explained that William Shatner and Kenny G had previously received the honour, adding "I'm not sure how seriously anybody can take this".

Ms Schofield added that Harry and Meghan would be attending the awards ceremony giving "something to look forward to".
