Prince Harry slammed for using royal title to join debate on US laws

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry is leaning on his royal title to get his voice out and be heard, royal expert Kinsey Schofield has claimed.

Prince Harry slammed for 'lecturing' US in UN speech

Prince Harry has stepped into a number of conversations where he doesn’t belong, relying on his affiliation with the Royal Family, says To Di For Daily host Kinsey Schofield.

Daily Express US reached out to Schofield to ask about why this is, with her saying, “I understand why they do it. Neither one of them have the credibility to weigh in on the spaces that they want to without their titles.”

She provides examples, saying, “Commenting that America's First Amendment is 'bonkers' and working with The Aspen Institute to determine new guidelines for digital media.”

She adds: “Not only is he way under qualified... he's not a citizen of the United States and he's wormed his way into these conversations with a royal title.”

Schofield discusses the subjects being addressed by the Sussexes: “I would not have a problem with Harry and Meghan using their titles to prop up charities and improve their communities, but Harry wants to change the cultural and political landscape.”

This comes across as a trust issue, says Schofield: “I think most Americans would feel way more comfortable with Harry trying to sell us a box of cereal in a television commercial as the 'Duke of Sussex' vs. Harry trying to change our laws or way of life through the use of his title.”

The Sussexes moved to the US in 2020 for a new way of life, but at the same time, it appears they are questioning the American way of life.

This gives Schofield pause: “They want America to be their home and we fought a war to terminate the royal family's influence on our country.”
