Prince William and Prince Harry both honoured their late mother in London on Thursday evening - but only William appeared in person.

Whilst William appeared in person at London's Science Museum, Harry made a virtual appearance - opting to remain at his home in the US.

During the evening, which marked 25 years of the Diana Legacy Awards, William and Harry both presented speeches.

Speaking of the speeches, body language expert Darren Stanton said that both brothers' presented themselves in very different ways.

Highlighting the four key differences, Mr Stanton said: "Harry’s virtual appearance at the Diana Legacy Awards was a lot more informal compared to William."

Describing Harry's speech, the expert said that he didn't feel Harry expressed "the same amount of depth" as William.

With his being in person, he added: "There were some really nice moments between Prince [William] and the winners".

Honouring his mother in his speech, William said: "She taught me that everyone has the potential to give something back; that everyone in need deserves a supporting hand in life."

Speaking of the Duke of Sussex, Mr Stanton said: "It was a lot more light-hearted than William’s delivery."

He went on to say: "It’s clear that Harry has the same degree of passion for the project, but I didn’t sense any micro expressions of sadness from him during the appearance.

"As it was only a call, that could have made a difference as he wasn’t there and able to soak in the emotion."

Concluding his analysis of the two speeches, he added: "With that being said, I do think Harry generally comes across as the more emotional out of the two royals.

"He wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s a lot more visible with his expressions. He tends to flash lots of gestures a lot more easily. I definitely believe if Harry attended on the night we would have seen the same amount of emotion coming from him."

Addressing those in attendance, Harry, via video link, said: "So much of the future depends on you guys. Some of the work you do may feel as though you are small, some of it is big but the impact again that you are having on hundreds of thousands, millions of people."
