Shocking moment brazen thieves ransack London Boots store in broad daylight
Two hooded men set upon several of the shelves the pharmacists, leaving shoppers open-mouthed.
Shocking footage has been posted online of two hooded men stealing from a Boots store in north east London.
The two men were filmed in a Chingford branch of the pharmacy, sweeping items from the shelves into the bag.
It’s unclear what the men were thieving from the store, but a female member of staff could be seen watching on helplessly.
Items could be seen strewn across the shop floor, as a woman flees without engaging with the hooded men.
Another woman could be heard saying “get the police to Station Road”, adding that the men “stealing all the stuff” were “hurting all the staff”.
From the video, it is unclear if anyone was hurt during the incident.
The video has now been viewed more than 130,000 times on X. It was posted on April 21 under the caption: “Boots on Chingford high street this afternoon.”

Social media users were outraged at the incident, but not surprised. One wrote: “Even in my tiny Boots store in my sleepy gentile town the cosmetics are now behind a locked glass screen as apparently shop lifting is rife!”
Another added: “This is sickening.”
A third added: “Where is law and order in the UK!? Get police back on the streets and arrest these and all the other criminals!”
Express.co.uk has approached the Met for comment.
