Tories have accused the Government of trying to cover up the threat 
Monday May 25,2009 MORE than 700,000 householders in England and Wales face being overcharged for council tax, it was claimed yesterday. Tories accused the Government of trying to cover up the threat. Leaked minutes last year revealed concern that the Exchequer would lose money and have to pay refunds if known errors were revealed. The revelation provoked a surge of appeals by families against their bills. New figures show the bandings of 250,000 homes have been changed in England and Wales since the 2005 election. IS LABOUR TRYING TO GRAB EVERY LAST PENNY IT CAN FROM TAXPAYERS TO STOP THE UK'S DEBT RISING? DO YOU THINK IT IS A DISGRACE FAMILIES ARE BEING OVERCHARGED FOR COUNCIL TAX? ARE YOU FED UP WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S POOR HANDLING OF OUR COUNTRY'S FINANCES?

what a stupid question. Councils are raking it in everywhere and they still want more of your money. Why? because they are corrupt and greedy, just like our MP's.
Lets have the expense claims of our friendly councillors up for public scrutiny, I have a feeling we'll have the answer to why we are hugely ripped off.
as for paying for refuse collection DUUUUUHHHH we already do. That is one of the reasons why we pay council tax in the first place.

yes,anything to do with Labour and Gordon Brown is a rip-off/fiddle, he shouldbe given a revolver with one round in it-for heaven sake Gordon do the decent thing and PULL THE TRIGGER!

Of course they would do a better job
They wouldnt bother about moats or bath plugs or paying their sisters to be their assistants
They would organise a system to suit everyone

I'D LOVE TO TELL YOU WHAT I REALLY THINK OF THE SMUG B***T**D BUT I SUSPECT THE DE WOULD BAN ME, AND I'S PROBABLY BE ARRESTED.
SUFFICE TO SAY THAT A DEMENTED CHIMPANZEE WITH A SEVERE PERSONALITY PROBLEM WOULD MAKE A BETTER PRIME MINISTER THAN THE CRETENOUS STUTTERING PEA BRAINED THIEF WHO CURRENTLY HOLDS THE POSITION.

MPs promise the world while they canvas for our vote
Once in power they revel in power and ignore their promises and our plight
Democracy must be changed if we are to feel any sense of justice or control over our lives
Massive changes are needed
