ADAM McKinna has been called into the Newcastle team for their opening Premier League meeting of the season with Birmingham on Sunday.

McKinna will replace struggling Danish star Casper Wortmann who has returned to Denmark to rebuild his confidence.

Diamonds boss George English said: “Casper hasn’t written off this season but he’s been struggling.

"Young Adam is determined to take his chance with both hands.”
