NO OBAMA: Denzel Washington /Wenn.com

Wednesday June 3,2009

ACTOR Denzel Washington says he has abandoned hope of ever playing Barack Obama on the big screen.

Washington, 54, insists he won’t be the right man to portray the President, 47, when it comes to making the inevitable biopic. “When Obama’s story is ready to be told I’ll be too old to do it,” admits the double Oscar winner – for Glory and Training Day.

“And if it were made now, he has too much to do to have me asking for tips on how to play him.”
