Efron to take a break from fame
ZAC EFRON is planning a break from Hollywood - because his meteoric rise to stardom has left him craving some time away from the limelight.
The High School Musical star was catapulted into the A-list when he landed the the role of Troy in the hit Disney franchise, which turned him into one of Tinseltown's top heart-throbs.
But despite becoming one of Hollywood's most in demand stars, the young actor will shy away from big screen projects over the summer (09) - because fame and fortune have left him feeling out of touch with reality.
He says, "(I've) gotta regroup because this is all fun and kind of crazy, but it doesn't make you feel like a real person.
"So it's nice to take some time off and remember what your life's about."
