Scotland international Fletcher, 22, has scored more than 50 goals for the SPL club and Allardyce is desperate to bring in strikers after selling Roque Santa Cruz to Manchester City . BURNLEY are set to sign Newcastle defender David Edgar to follow up the imminent arrival of Tyrone Mears from Derby. Both players had medicals at Turf Moor yesterday .
