WAWRINKA: Does not like laundry Wednesday July 1,2009 By Brendan AbbottLAUNDRY has become something of an issue at SW19 after Stanislas Wawrinka sported the reddest nose.
Wawrinka blamed the new towels, labelling them “irritating”, but a club spokesman said there has been effectively no difference to the way they have been washed for the last 35 years. And watching Dinara Safina’s tummy popping in and out of her adidas outfit on Centre Court, one could not help but wonder if it had been accidentally boil-washed.
