Beeb’s family feud

THE BBC are one big happy family but with all their various guises – TV, radio, internet – there is always the danger of a bit of infighting.

Moyles Stunt Moyles: Stunt

Like, for instance, when Carrie Davis from Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 team was egged into setting herself up in the Centre Court umpires’ chair just as her former boyfriend Chris Hollins, with whom she had a somewhat fiery relationship, was about to present from the hallowed turf for Breakfast television.

Using the official’s microphone, she spoke over his piece to camera with comments such as “New balls, please” and “We weren’t on a break” to the delight of Moyles and his listeners. She was soon asked to leave.

The website people are clearly not taking sides. The clip is available to hear on the Chris Moyles site, but is listed as “not available” on the BBC1 TV section of BBC iPlayer.
