YES KATE, THE RING SAYS IT ALL

Kate browsed the goodies on offer at Hatton Garden

DIAMONDS are a girl’s best friend – which may go some way to explaining the million-watt smile worn by The Apprentice star Kate Walsh.

The reality show runner-up and lover Philip Taylor, who also appeared in the BBC programme, spent an hour joyfully shopping for a ring in Hatton Garden, London’s famous diamond district.

Eventually they walked out of one shop with a discreet blue bag.

Kate, 27, even slipped one of the sparklers on to her wedding-ring finger.

But the pair were staying tight-lipped and refused to say whether Philip, 29, had popped the question and bought an engagement ring.

“I’ve never, ever wanted to get married but now its definitely something I would consider,” Kate told a magazine in a recent photo special dedicated to her on-screen romance.

“That’s a huge, huge thing for me to say and it speaks volumes about what I think of Phil,” she added.

The couple recently had their first holiday together in New York, staying at the five-star Waldorf Astoria.
