FSA PREPARES FOR FUTURE CRISIS

In moves to be introduced in October, the Financial Services Authority will create an international division to liaise with foreign regulators. Its financial stability arm will form its own division to identify emerging threats.

Other divisions will be restructured into four units focusing on supervision, risk, enforcement and financial crime.

The FSA said it would provide greater clarity.
