By Brendon Abbott for Express.co.uk

WOLVES striker Chris Iwelumo returns to the squad after a lengthy absence for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League derby against Aston Villa at Molineux.

The Scottish international has been sidelined for six months with knee ligament damage and then a broken foot.

Andrew Surman and Richard Stearman are also back in contention after recent injury lay-offs after a mid-week reserve outing but Stefan Maierhofer is suspended.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Zubar, Berra, Craddock, Elokobi, Kightly, Edwards, Henry, Halford, Doyle, Ebanks-Blake, Iwelumo, Surman, Stearman, Hahnemann, Keogh, Ward, Jarvis, Castillo.
