BRITAIN’S jails are becoming a terror training ground amid fears there could be 1,000 Al Qaeda fanatics inside within five years.

Prison officers warn the soaring number of Islamic radicals and terrorists being locked up is a threat to security over fears that bomb plots may be hatched behind bars.

The alert came as security chiefs revealed that up to 4,000 extremists could be at large in the UK after attending terror training camps in Afghanistan.

It presents an alarming picture of the growing terror within our borders – figures show that one in four suspects arrested are asylum seekers.

Steve Gough, vice-chairman of the Prison Officers Association, said: “The radicalisation of young men is going to be our biggest problem over the next four or five years. If you look at the trials coming up we are possibly going to have hundreds more entering the prison system.”

Security services estimate there are 2,000 people currently under surveillance for suspected roles in Islamic terror plots while there are 40 trials of suspected extremists still to be heard. The radicals in our jails were joined last week by the four terrorists, pictured above, who were found guilty of plotting to bring carnage to London on July 21, 2005, two weeks after bombers killed 52 people in the capital.

Worries that our prisons are a recruitment hotbed for Islamic fanatics have intensified after the Prison Officers Association warned the number of detained Al Qaeda-linked terrorists could reach 1,000 by 2012.

There are fears that parts of Belmarsh Prison in London, Britain’s toughest jail, have become dominated by extremist inmates. Terror mastermind Dhiren Barot, jailed for life for plotting a UK and US bombing blitz, was recently moved to a jail in Durham after bosses at Belmarsh feared he was radicalising Muslims there.

He had even demanded “prisoner of war” status for himself and fellow fanatics, claiming it is unfair that he faces frequent searches.

Mr Gough added: “The majority of the prison population is comprised of angry young men, disenfranchised from society. These are ripe for radicalisation.”

The threat of terrorism to the UK mainland is the result of decades of unwanted, unregulated open-door immigration. The old-gang 'politicians' who wanted these waves of immigrants to come here did so out of a desire to fulfill their Marxist social-engineering 'projects' and to satisfy the demands of freeloading capitalists.

It is therefore no wonder that 'British' society is tearing apart at the seams. There has never been so much socio-political tension in this country. In reality, Britain is packed to the rafters and the rafters are burning!

It is time to end immigration completely to preserve our culture and also to ensure our national security. A program must also be implemented to root out the undesirable elements in ethnic communities and repatriate them to their immediate and/or ancestral homelands.

This fundamental issue has now become quite simply a matter of life or death as the anti-British brigade of fanatics plan and plot to exterminate us.

The old-gang politicians (Lib/Lab/Con) have no answer or solution to this disaster of their making, instead they prefer varying degrees of mass immigration. By voting for the dangerous clowns of the three-party State, we are literally putting our lives in their greedy, oily, grasping hands.

Only a lunatic would entrust his life to lunatics. It is time to end the asylum racket because the lunatics are well and truly in charge of the asylum....
