BOND GIRL’S EVA SO SHY

The French actress, who won a Bafta for her performance in Casino Royale with Daniel Craig, may have bared all in her first film Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers in 2003 but she insists that she hates being the centre of attention.

“At school when a teacher asked me a question I would almost pass out,” purrs Eva, 29.

“I was terrible and I still can be. It overwhelms me. I can be having dinner with people and I find I can’t say a word,” she tells Tatler.

“So being an actress is kind of masochistic.”
