I'M A CELEBRITY: KATIE PRICE QUITS... AND DUMPS ALEX REID

JUNGLE star Katie Price burst into tears as she finally snapped and quit I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – after being picked by viewers for her seventh successive Bushtucker trial.
But Katie certainly didn’t go quietly she stole last night's show,sensationally dumping her 34-year-old cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid live on air.
In an interview with hosts Ant and Dec at the end of the I'm A Celebrity episode, she said: “I’ve done a lot of reflecting and I think that it’s best I’m on my own. I just don’t want to be in a relationship.”

When she was asked again if she had broken up with Reid, she said: “I just realised I don’t want to be in a relationship.
“I want to be on my own. I hope we can remain friends.”
Former EastEnder Lucy Benjamin was the first celebrity to be voted out of the jungle. She lost out in the public vote to Samantha Fox and Gino D’Acampo.
After being told, she said: “I thought so. Someone had to go first. It’s fine.”
Earlier in a final video diary before heading out of camp, Katie, who is now unlikely to get all of her £350,000 fee, said she missed her children and did not need fame or money.
“People can see I am genuine,” the former model said as she clasped her hands to her face and wept, before being led off to the five-star Versace Hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast.
She had already done six Bushtucker trials but refused to do another. Katie, 31, admitted that the trials had been “exhausting”.
But she added that base camp had also been a cruel, daily reminder of her failed marriage to singer Peter Andre, who she divorced last month.
She said: “My number one reason for leaving was that I missed the kids so much. Also, the whole place reminded me of Pete from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to sleep. Every second it was Pete, Pete, Pete.”
Before quitting camp, she said goodbye to her fellow contestants, telling them: “I’m not a bad sport. A cheque, for all of us, is always attractive but it’s not as if I can’t earn money at home. It’s not always about the money.
“I’m going home, I want to go. I can’t satisfy everyone. I’ve got to think of my family.
“I feel sick for letting people down, I’m gutted myself I’m leaving. I met a husband here, had kids and I’ve had so much ****, coming back is like a big circle for me.”
Surprised former Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning said: “I thought she’d stick with it until she was voted out, or voted queen of the jungle.”
Queen of Clean Kim Woodburn added: “I liked her. She was a gutsy broad.”
Celebrity interior designer Colin McAllister said: “I think she was looking for an answer in her private life and I think she found that answer here and decided it was time to go.”
