HUGH GRANT WANTS TO BE A DADDY

Hugh Grant has dated a string of glamorous women including Liz Hurley, his partner for 13 years, and Jemima Khan but has no children.

Now he admits to Parade magazine: “Ten years ago I wouldn’t have thought about having any children at all.”

Many of his closest friends already have families and Hugh acts as uncle to them. He is godfather to Liz’s seven-year-old son Damian but now the Hollywood actor seems keen to start his own family.

“Yes, yes, yes. I haven’t given up hope,” he says.

“I find I’m not as bad with children as I used to be. I see a lot of children are over-parented now, over-adored and over-spoiled. I quite like children to be left alone to get on with it.”
