RECESSION: IT'S STILL GETTING WORSE
Recession: The British economy is still in a slump

BRITAIN'S beleaguered economy is mired in recession and the recovery here is lagging well behind the rest of the world.
The latest gross domestic product (GDP) figures show our economy is still contracting - six months after most major economies emerged from the crisis.
The revised figures confirm that the UK economy shrank by another 0.3 per cent between July and September.
Meanwhile, France, Germany, Japan and the United States have all enjoyed and sustained upturn in output - making a farce of Gordon Brown's claim that the UK was "best placed" to recover from the credit crunch.
Today's figures also mean the British economy has got smaller for six quarters in a row - making it the longest recession on record.

Economy: The US have already enjoyed an upturn in output

Tory leader David Cameron said Labour was incapable of getting Britain out of recession because it had run out of money and ideas.
He added: "For Labour getting the economy growing is all about government action and big public spending.
"It's not big government that will drive us out of this recession and into a sustainable recovery.
"If we win the election, we will send the message out loud and clear: if you want to set up a business, make an investment, employ new people, then we are on your side.
"We will be unashamedly pro-enterprise and pro-wealth creation."
Today's figures updated an initial report from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which estimated an even bigger 0.4 per cent fall in output - but the manufacturing and service sectors have since improved marginally.
But overall production slumped further than previously thought, driven by lower oil and gas extraction.
The ONS said household expenditure was broadly unchanged from the level of the previous quarter.
Experts forecast that the UK will at last begin its recovery from recession in the final quarter of this year.
WALKING DISASTER

Yes. "He ended Boom and Bust" too ! We've only got Bust now.
How the hell an incompetent buffoon with no financial qualifications or acumen and only a degree in **** History (!) came to be managing the country's economy for 10 years is a mystery.
His "economic brilliance" is now seen to be all smoke and mirrors and a classic example of The Emperor's New Clothes as he led us all lemming-like towards the cliff of economic ruin.
And STILL he believes in his own competence and that he is a statesman of international status, rather than the walking disaster and international laughing stock that he is, and has turned Britain into.

HOW COME EVERY OTHER EU COUNTRY IS OUT OF RECESSION EXCEPT BRITAIN

The answer is simple - Britain has the most inept Government in History namely Gordon (The F_Lying Scotsman) Brown and THE NEW LABOUR INCOMPETENCE PARTY..
That is why we are still suffering. There will be NO Changes until New Labour are totally Anihilated once and for all.
Remember :- when New Labour took over from the Conservatives in 1997 they inherited (and then squandered) an Economy that was the strongest in Europe and that was FIRMLY IN THE BLACK.
Thanks to Tony B'Liar;s Warmongering and Gordon Browns total mismanagement of ther Economy over the past 12 years ( including the selling off of half Britains Gold Reserves for a mere pittance to pay for B'Liars Warmongering) we are now unable to ride out the recession like other EU Countries.

You say, “Recession, what recession says the No 10 bunker!”
I haven’t heard anyone in No 10 say that and I can’t hear “Gordon denying we are still in recession”.
Where did you get the details of the Prime Minister’s, “solutions to a bust economy” or as usual is this your own idea of what might be? Are you saying you could solve the problems without doing any of your suggestions?
The rest of you are far too “doom and gloomy”. No wonder Britain has a bad name in the rest of the EU.
Gordon Brown won’t just to walk away next year. Not many Prime Ministers would do that when they have just won an election. So don’t worry, he will see us through the next term of government and we will be fine so long as the anti-Britain/anti-EU elements in out country don’t cause so much trouble that the rest of the EU vote to take executive action and kick us out causing overnight mass unemployment, fast rundown of utilities and the complete breakdown of our society and life as we know it.
