She and her partner had a baby daughter taken from them last year after they were “unfairly” branded unfit parents.

South Suffolk Conservative MP Tim Yeo told the House of Commons this week that Suffolk County Council staff had “snatched the baby from the arms of her mother” in a joint raid with police.

Mr Yeo told fellow MPs in an adjournment debate that the removal of the child without any evidence of physical or emotional abuse amounted to “child kidnapping”.

Mr Yeo confirmed that the mother was pregnant again and the couple had made plans to live abroad.

Suffolk County Council said: “The outcome of any case is for the court.”
