 JOHNNY VEGAS SIDESTEPS STRICTLY COME DANCING
Johnny Vegas has no plans to take part in Strictly Come Dancing Monday November 30,2009 COMEDIAN Johnny Vegas turned down the chance to be the next John Sergeant in Strictly Come Dancing because of the punishing rehearsal regime involved.
Despite losing several stone this year the 38-year-old reveals he feared the demanding dance schedule would be too much. The Benidorm star says: “Would it be good for ratings, me keeling over? I know how tiring it is and it’s not something I have time to do at the moment, but it’s nice to be asked. "I think that they were looking for this season’s John Sergeant.” The comedian admits he would also reject any offer to go on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. “No! No, no, no! The idea of being on TV 24 hours a day and people seeing the real me? No.” Nothing to do with eating kangaroo bottoms then Johnny?
