CALL CENTRES ARE MOST LUSTY WORKPLACES IN BRITAIN

The amorous phone operators narrowly pipped 28 per cent of finance workers and 26 per cent in human resources and IT, according to a survey by Lloydspharmacy.

Less romantically, 15 per cent of teachers have had a lesson in love from a colleague, and 16 per cent of health workers had liaisons.

Regionally, the Welsh are most likely to woo a workmate. The chain has also launched an online calculator for staff  to see how many colleagues may have a sexual disease, drink too much or be depressed. It is designed to prompt workers to discuss health concerns openly, with figures based on work type, age and gender.

Lloydspharmacy’s Andy Murdock said: “When you discover that in an office of 50 people 10 of the men will experience some form of erectile dysfunction after turning 40, you’re more likely to sit up and take notice.”
