BLACKBURN striker Benni McCarthy has gone on strike to attempt to force a move but Rovers manager Sam Allardyce claims West Ham are no closer to reaching their valuation.

The Hammers have made an offer in the region of £1.75million but Blackburn are holding out for at least £2.5m and Allardyce said: “We’ll deal with him should he remain here after the window.”
