P DIDDY HIP-HOPS ON THE TRAIN TO PARTY

LAVISH: Hip-hop star P Diddy's bash at London club Amika

Monday March 8,2010

HIP-HOP star P Diddy lived up to his hard-partying reputation with a blowout bash in London to celebrate the launch of his new album Last Train To Paris.

The star, 40, variously known as sean combs, Puff Daddy and sean John, had been soaking up the atmosphere at Paris Fashion Week when he decided to throw a lavish party at one of his favourite London clubs, Amika in Kensington.

So in keeping with the name of his new album (well, sort of) he hopped on the train from Paris for a whirlwind 12 hours in London. It’s been a few years since Diddy’s thrown one of his legendary parties in London and he had a team of more than 40 people to make sure that everything was perfect, from the pyrotechnics and confetti bombs to a girl dancing in a cage.

But one thing is always sure with Diddy: he doesn’t do things by halves. And with a budget of £500k, the singer’s main stipulation was that there was plenty of alcohol for his guests. The mogul ordered in 500 bottles of his premium vodka Ciroc, worth more than £100k, as well as 100 bottles of Moët Rose and Ace of Spades champagne, making sure all  the prettiest girls’ drinks were topped up all night.

Ever the perfectionist he even made staff spray the rooms with his very own Sean John fragrance.
