Madonna drops in on a school fete
FAMILIES mingling at a school fete were amazed when a helicopter flew in … and dropped off Madonna.
The superstar, 51, popped in to the New School music fundraiser as a favour to former Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed, patron of the underprivileged children’s centre in Sevenoaks, Kent.
She drew the line at doing a duet with him, however. When Mr Al Fayed attempted to cajole her into singing with him on stage, she joked: “I haven’t done my vocal warm-up.”
