Boy, 15, accused of sex attack on girl, 8
A BOY of 15 appeared in court yesterday charged with kidnapping and indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl as she walked home from a park.
The child was playing in Penygraig, South Wales, on August 6 when she was approached by the teenager on her way home and led to a nearby lane where he touched her and tried to kiss her, the court was told.
The girl was “upset and frightened” by what happened, police said.
After the incident, which took place between 7.30pm and 8pm, the girl went home and told her mother what had occurred.
The teenager was remanded in custody after appearing at Rhondda Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning, police said.
He is due to appear again at the same court on Thursday.
