One of the brothers, named as Abdul Jabbar, has been killed in a missile strike from a US aerial drone on an Islamic militant camp in north-west Pakistan.

News of the plot emerged after its mastermind Sheikh Fateh al-Masri, a senior Al Qaeda commander, was killed by another US missile on Saturday.

Jabbar, a British passport holder thought to be under 30 from Pakistan, was killed on September 8. The other Briton and eight German accomplices are being hunted over the plot to unleash suicide attacks in Europe. The brothers are thought to be among at least 20 Britons being trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan run by Al Qaeda.
