Christmas cheer: Mice pie? Oh rats...
SHOPPERS might not have believed their mince pies when they saw what a supermarket had on offer.
For days a misspelt sign advertised packs of icing-topped “mice” pies instead of mince pies.
Then an eagle-eyed shopper reported the error to staff at Sainsbury’s in Dartford, Kent.

A store spokesman said: “We can assure our customers that no mice were involved in the making of these delicious mince pies.”
That’s good news for shoppers – and no doubt for mice too.
