HELEN GETS THE CREEPS

“I basically loathe all young men, actually,” the Oscar-winning actress, also 62, declares. “They start getting better when they’re 25.”

Her dislike of the younger man – though not all, as in her 30s she had a relationship with Liam Neeson, seven years her junior – dates back to her late teens when she had an “abusive” time in her love life.

“They were creeps, absolute creeps,” she says of her young suitors. “They just wanted to get in your knickers and didn’t care about your feelings at all and I wasn’t ready for that. I arrived in London very green.”

In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, she adds: “There were a lot of them. Just creepy boys treating you like a lump of meat and not bothering to talk to you. But young men are horrible.” Crikey.
