The Prime Minister first called for a new “more active, muscular liberalism” in which countries promoted their values and confronted extremist views, in a speech at an international security conference in Germany on Saturday.

Labour’s Shadow Justice Secretary Sadiq Khan on Saturday accused the PM of “writing propaganda” for the anti-Muslim English Defence League who held a rally that day in Luton.
