SOLO SOPHIE DAHL GLUM AT GALA DINNER

So it was perhaps no wonder that the 6ft model and aspiring author was looking a little glum without her pint-sized jazz titch beau at a glamorous gala dinner in Monaco.

“Sophie jetted in for the presentation of the Montblanc limited edition Prince Rainier III pen, where she was joined by fellow model Helena Christensen [near left]. But Sophie clearly was not feeling like the belle of the ball,” reports our girl in her best tiara.

“She looked rather forlorn until virtuoso piano star Lang Lang played for a captivated audience. She obviously knows how

to spot a talented musician – her face lit up and she gave him a standing ovation.”

Unfortunately Sophie won’t be able to spend much time with Jamie now she’s home, as he is busy touring.
