All ladies love Antonio
THERE may be a plethora of big names in Marks & Spencer’s latest Christmas advert but model Erin O’Connor reveals that it was smouldering Antonio Banderas who captured everyone’s attention.
Statuesque catwalk star Erin appears in the classic Hollywood movie-themed promotion alongside Twiggy, Laura Bailey and Elizabeth Jagger. In the advert, the glamorous ladies vie for the attention of the Mask Of Zorro star. And, it seems, it was the case in real life, too.
“When he walked on to the set everyone went silent,” swooned Erin, 29, at the launch of singer Bryan Adams’s Modern Muses photo exhibition. “He is so charismatic.”
Proving he’s more than just a pretty face, Spanish heart-throb Antonio, 47, also managed to keep the cast and crew entertained.
“After five days of shooting everyone was tired but Antonio made things exciting and fun,” added Erin.
“He kept playing on the piano and when things came to an end, he didn’t want to leave.”
