SARAH DRAWS THE LINE AT HER MIDRIFF

Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie is famous for her fashion

Monday December 3,2007

EVER since Carrie Bradshaw trotted across screens in a pair of Manolos in Sex And The City, actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s wardrobe has been coveted by millions of women.

But despite happily wearing bras outside her clothes and corsages the size of her head, there is one no-go item that Sarah – currently filming scenes for a much anticipated movie version of the hit TV series – will not be seen in.

“Super low-rise jeans,” pouts the the 42-year-old, who clearly takes her fashion extremely seriously.

“There is not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing, regardless of age,” she adds. “It’s provocative in a way that I just don’t feel comfortable with.”

Sarah’s love of fashion has even had an impact on her marriage to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off actor Matthew Broderick.

“Before he knew me, Matthew felt very confident about dressing on his own,” she tells Easy Living magazine.

“I seem to have sapped his confidence. It’s just that I buy him so much that I think he feels it has taken away his ability to make his own decisions.”
